The 100 Day Project

The 100 Day Project

Since 2017, I’ve been running #The100DayProject, a popular annual art project with participants from all around the world.

I’ve grown the community to nearly 60K email subscribers, over 1K paid newsletter subscribers with annual recurring revenue, 2.4M user-generated posts and 31K followers on Instagram, and over 15K Facebook group members – all as a side project. It’s an especially lovely corner of the internet, much loved by participants and followers.

Women Catalysts

Like a lot of entrepreneurial efforts, Women Catalysts came out of a personal need and a need that I saw so many other young, professional women experiencing. What started as a speaker series – that sold out from our very first event – turned into a community organization with chapters and events around the world. Women Catalysts became a leading organization for women in tech, partnering with diversity and inclusion organizations and technology companies including Google Women Techmakers, General Assembly, MotherCoders, The Assembly, and more.

I launched the organization, including our online membership, and led content and community strategy, developing brand guidelines and messaging, web copy, email, event copy, and professional development content, growing the community to thousands of women, primarily in the Bay Area.

Crisis Management

Just a few weeks after I started managing the social media team at Wix, most of my colleagues and direct reports in Tel Aviv were terribly affected by the attacks on October 7th. In a matter of days, the company’s social media pages became the digital frontlines for bots and critical political commentary.

During this crisis, I supported my team, many of whom were processing an unfathomable trauma and the loss of loved ones, and worked closely with leadership, PR, and brand engagement. We developed a real-time response channel, making time-sensitive decisions to protect our brand, our employees, and our users.

This challenging experience honed my leadership skills in navigating uncertainty, building team morale, and adapting our strategies to rapidly changing circumstances.

Even amidst this difficulty, we grew our followers, radically improved our engagement metrics, reduced our production timeline, and increased the volume of our output.
